Which one I'd pick
New vs pre-owned: new at $620.50 is cheaper than the pre-owned median ($650). Buy new.
40 vs 35 mm: this is the 40 mm. Tissot also makes a 35 mm automatic PRX if you have a smaller wrist.
What to check before you buy
- Ref check: the PRX comes in quartz and automatic (Powermatic 80) versions that look alike. The automatic ref starts T137.407.
- Bracelet: the integrated bracelet needs Tissot-specific links. Make sure you get the removed links with a used one.
- Warranty: at this price, buy where returns are easy.
Alternatives worth a look

History
Tissot was founded in 1853 in Le Locle, Switzerland, where it's still headquartered.
The original PRX was a 1978 quartz watch with a slim barrel-shaped case and an integrated bracelet. 'PR' stands for Precise and Robust, and the 'X' for 10 bar of water resistance.
Tissot revived the PRX in 2021, first in quartz and then as the automatic PRX Powermatic 80, with an 80-hour power reserve and a Nivachron balance spring.
PRX stands for Precise and Robust; the X refers to 10 bar water resistance.
